About Us

Chicago Backflow Inc. (CBI) is a fully licensed plumbing contractor.  However, we do not perform the normal day-to-day functions of a typical plumbing company.  Our niche is plumbing in the interest of public health: we safe-guard your drinking water.  Our current service area includes the states of Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Mississippi.

The people of CBI are backflow preventers.  Specialists providing inspection, installation, repair and certification of all types of backflow prevention assemblies ranging in size from 1/4 inch through 12 inches.  Because backflow prevention is CBI's only business, we are able to deliver our services in an unmatched efficient and professional manner.

Whether your needs are for a complete cross-connection control ordinance or access to our fully integrated computer database to maintain the record-keeping portion of your backflow maintenance program, CBI will be a great asset to your total cross-connection control program.  Our goal is to ensure that all installed backflow preventers are tested and maintained on an annual basis and that the test results are maintained for Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) personnel to review.
